Membership of the National Piers Society enables you to make a
direct contribution to the preservation and continued
enjoyment of seaside piers. Membership entitles you to receive
our quarterly magazine PIERS, attend and vote at members
meetings of the Society including the Annual General Meeting,
participate at local pier events, and vote each year for the
Pier of the Year.
New members are always welcome. Membership runs from the 1st January to 31st December.
Please note that, subject to availability, new members joining
us before 30th September will receive back issues of our
quarterly journal, PIERS, from the start of the joining
year. Memberships commencing after 1st October will receive only the
current issue but the membership continues until the end of
the following year.
Joining for the first time or renewing your membership can
be either via our online payment
system or by downloading a
membership form, completing and returning it along with your
payment.
Membership can also be an excellent gift for a friend or
loved one and we are happy to accept applications on behalf of
another person. The new member will receive a special
greetings card with the name and details of the person who
purchased the membership.

All membership fees are in UK pounds; applicants from
outside the European Union (EU) should add £10 to the above costs to cover

UK Gift Aid
If you pay an amount of UK income tax at least equal to the
amount of tax the National Piers Society will reclaim (approx
30% of your annual payment), you can, at NO cost to yourself,
increase the value of your subscription to the Society. This will
enable us to reclaim the tax. Details are provided on the
application pages.
DATA PROTECTION ACT: Any information
which you provide may be held by the National Piers Society on
computer to administer your membership.
Such information may be used for marketing purposes and to
keep you informed about events arranged by the National Piers
Society.
No personal information will be passed to any third parties.
